VOLKSWAGEN ‘CALIFORNIA 30 YEARS’ CAMPER VAN
The original Volkswagen camper was unveiled way back in 1988 and it has been helping people satisfy their wanderlust by taking them on journeys through the backcountry ever since. Thirty years later, Volkswagen is celebrating the versatile adventure van with a limited edition model.
The California 30 Years edition features a pop-up roof, electronic wing mirrors, gloss black B-pillars and high-sheen 17-inch Cascavel alloy wheels in your choice of silver or anthracite. Inside the trusty camper, you’ll find bright wood decor in the kitchen, interior LED lighting throughout the pop-up roof and auxiliary heating. It even includes a shower hookup at the rear for those lengthier escapades. Under the hood, it has a Euro 6 engine, and if you decide to upgrade to ‘4Motion’ all-wheel drive, you’ll get improved traction, handling and steering. Volkswagen is only planning to make 999 examples of this adventure-ready camper van.
