HAN SOLO EMPIRE STRIKES BACK JACKET
There are several pieces of memorabilia from the Star Wars universe that will be auctioned off at the Prop Store in London, but none of them are as cool as Han Solo’s jacket. The jacket from Empire Strikes Back has been through plenty of adventures on Cloud City and beyond, and now it could be yours.
Designed by Academy Award-winning costume designer John Mollo, the cynical smuggler’s blue-grey jacket was fashioned after his vest in A New Hope and is made of a cotton-wool blend and polyester lining. It has several pockets, including a faux pocket on the left arm, and shares many stylish details with the jacket Luke Skywalker wore on Dagobah. The jacket definitely has Death Star destroying capabilities, in terms of obliterating your wallet, as it’s expected to go for roughly $1.3 million.
