THE ROBEY BRINGS MINIMALIST LUXURY TO CHICAGO'S WICKER PARK

Opening in late November, The Robey is the latest project from Gruopo Habita, a Mexican hospitality company that has expanded into the USA with properties like the Hotel Americano in New York. Sitting in the middle of Chicago's Wicker Park and Bucktown neighborhoods, the 69-room hotel sits inside the Coyote Building, an art deco-style tower originally opened in 1929.

Spread across 12 floors, the rooms are sized between 215 and 675 square feet and feature interiors swathed with herringbone wooden floors and vintage chicken-wire glass. Every room has views of the surrounding neighborhoods while the panoramic suites deliver 180-degree views of the Chicago skyline.

As for cuisine, the hotel's offerings include Café Robey with its French-American dishes and Up & Up, a rooftop bar serving cocktails with stunning views of the city. Next Spring, the hotel will open a rooftop pool and a full-service restaurant called the Cabana Club, which will serve Greek-inspired dishes. From $156.
