THIS IS THE 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY

After a few spy shots found their way to the internet recently, Land Rover has officially unveiled the 2017 Discovery — or at least the front of it, anyway. The styling of the front fascia alone, though, is enough to confirm Land Rover has moved away from the boxy Discovery of old and injected the new model with the now-familiar Evoque and Range Rover design language.
That’s what we know for sure. As for the rumored additions and upgrades for the new-generation Disco’, a third body style is in the pipeline as well as some meddling from JLR’s Special Vehicles Operations branch. Based on how the crossover market is going, that third body style could likely be a sportier four-door “coupe” version, while the upgraded performance-focused SVX trim will improve the small SUV’s off-road chops. Keep an eye out for the full reveal later this month at the Paris Auto Show.
