LAMBORGHINI URUS 6×6 CONCEPT

Lamborghini, the legendary car manufacturer known for vehicles such as the Huracan and the Countach, is not exactly well known for being subtle in their designs. But their second go at creating a production SUV, the Urus – which was unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show back in 2012 – actually looks somewhat subdued. That’s not to say that it isn’t impressive or stylish (because it is), it just doesn’t have the same exterior chutzpah as its supercar brethren. Now, with this vehicle approaching it’s production release, the folks at LamboCARS have released a rendering of their own version of the Urus. And it is intimidating, to say the least.

Similar to the real-life Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6X6, this rendering stays true to Lamborghini’s original design, but expands upon it in a beautiful way – speaking to the aggressive nature of a 6-wheeled commuter truck. From the lifted chassis, to the extended flatbed, to the additional axel, and its overall size (which would almost certainly require the inclusion of a high-powered V12 engine), this concept summons forth the gas-guzzling highway hellraiser in all of us. Maybe someday our dreams of seeing this Frankenstein-esque monster come to life will become a reality.
