FORMER FERRARI DESIGNER KEN OKUYAMA ANNOUNCES HIS OWN SUPERCAR

Amongst the more established automakers at the Quail Motorsports Gathering this year was what looked like the offspring of a Ferrari Enzo and an SLR Stirling Moss. The car we're talking about is Ken Okuyama's kode57 supercar. With a design resume that includes cars from GM, Porsche, Maserati, and Ferrari, Okuyama is branching off on his own with a sleek roadster powered by a big V12.

The limited edition car will be constructed out of aluminum and carbon fiber and features rear-hinged suicide doors and an interior swathed in leather and ultra-suede. They've also teamed up with the renowned tuners at Novitec Rosso, who will be put in charge of tuning the engine and suspension to each owner's preferences. No details on pricing or a release date, but rumors have the car priced at over a couple million dollars.
