ICONA VULCANO
Any car fan understands that the Geneva Show can be a bit of a pipe dream, where the majority of the debuted vehicles over the span of one of the world’s greatest auto shows never actual come to fruition. It’s a reality car fans everywhere must face head-on. That is until one of these beauties actually does make it to market.
Such is the case with the Icona Vulcano, the only titanium-bodied supercar in the field. It first made the rounds last year at Pebble Beach and is now slated for a series of auto shows over the coming months. As for the build itself, the Icona finish is insanely unique, featuring bare metal with a design outfitted with countless hidden triangles throughout the body. And while the exterior is certainly one-of-a-kind, the interior’s nothing to scoff at either. It features a 12.3-inch display, carbon fiber racing seat, and an additional screen to replace that pesky gauge cluster under the dash. Under the hood is a 6.2L supercharged OHV 16 valve engine (the same one from the Corvette ZR1) pushing out 670 hp, getting from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and topping out at 220 mph. Interested in checking one out? The Icona Vulcano will demand a small fortune indeed for her services, about $2.78 million to be exact.
